Facelift that Pulls Three Layers- The Epidermis, Dermis, and SMAS Layers.

Everyday aging is in process little by little, and when you reach middle age, the traces remain generally on the face.

In general, the skin becomes thinner and the elasticity decreases, and the under-eye, cheeks, nasolabial folds and jawline droop under the force of gravity.

At times like this, facelift surgery can have a good impact.

There are also various non-invasive lasers and thread lifting, but facial lift can be helpful for those with severe skin sagging and older middle-aged or older age groups.

However, if only the skin layer is pulled, the effect will only appear temporarily, and it can recur, so it is important to fully lift when aging begins.

Facelift does not only improve the epidermis, but also the dermis and the deeper SMAS layers (fiber fascia layers) too.

It gives a stronger and definite lifting effect.

In the case of the commonly used face-lift, it only has a temporary lifting effect and it is difficult to improve fundamental facial sagging.

However, the SMAS facelift, pulls the fascia layer which is where the fundamental sagging occurs, and gives a firm lifting effect from the inner layers of the skin.

The SMAS layer is a thin fibrous fascia layer that exists between the subcutaneous fat layer and the muscle layer deeper than the dermal layer of the skin.

When the area is weakened and stretched by gravity, skin aging may occur leading to sagging skin and deep wrinkles.

Therefore, if you undergo facial lifting, you have to pull it to the fibrous fascia to achieve a clear lifting without sagging.
