Breast Hyperplasia in Men, Can Be Treated by Micro Incision Laser

The shape, size and function of the breast varies for women and men.

For women, the voluminous breast makes them stand out, while a solid, wide and flat chest represents masculinity for men.

Therefore, it is worrisome if the breast has the opposite appearance for each respective gender.

For women, even though they have a small breast, it is a personal complex and it can be corrected by using the right undergarments and clothes.

However, it is different for men; for men who have breast hyperplasia, even if they wear loose clothes,

their chest is still visible which acts as a complex for them.

Due to that, they want to hide it which leads them to feel less about themselves and show a passive attitude.

The cause of breast hyperplasia in men is the imbalance of hormones in the body, obesity, abnormal body function,

and endocrine system abnormalities resulting in fat accumulation.

This causes the chest to protrude like a woman, and the nipples also stand out.

If you feel a hard substance when you touch your chest, when you are obese but your chest looks especially big,

or if your chest is protruding when you have a slim figure, then breast hyperplasia may be an option.

Since it can be difficult to improve it completely only by exercising and dieting,

it is necessary to accurately diagnose the cause and remove the mammary gland tissues.

The surgery plan for breast hyperplasia in men should be made according to the treatment for each stage.

In the initial stage, the mammary gland tissues aren’t large, and only the nipples and areolas are developed.

As it progresses, the chest starts to protrude and sagging occurs.

The most severe stage is when the mammary gland tissue is developed which causes severe chest protrusion

and the nipples and areolas start to sag downwards.

If a complete incision is done, it can cause pain and scarring.

Micro incision laser which does not leave scars is another method to treat breast hyperplasia.

After removing the excessively developed mammary gland tissues using the laser,

lifting laser may be used to help make the chest line even and improve the skin elasticity.

If the nipples have developed a lot, nipple reduction can be done together which will have a synergy effect.

A micro incision of about 2mm will be made under the nipples so the scar will not be visible.

Not only will the nipple be reduced, but it will help build a solid chest.

DA Plastic Surgery Clinic advised “As breast hyperplasia is a highly recurring disease even after surgery,

it is important to do it with a medical staff who has abundant research and clinical experience in the field.

It is important to take factors such as the chest skin, distance between the nipples, and asymmetry into consideration

and decide on a chest line that is most suitable for each patient. By doing so, you can expect satisfactory results after the surgery.”
